1. Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the BreederOS platform, websites, and services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. By using BreederOS you represent that you meet these requirements and that any breeding activity you conduct complies with the laws and animal-welfare regulations of your jurisdiction.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information, keep it up to date, and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We may suspend accounts that contain false or misleading information.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time and retain access until the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Listings & User Content
You retain ownership of the content you publish — dog profiles, photos, listings, and messages — but grant BreederOS a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host and display it for the purpose of operating the Service. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your listings, including health records and pedigree claims.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the Service to misrepresent animals, falsify health or pedigree information, operate puppy mills, harass other users, or engage in any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity. We exist to support responsible breeders and will remove content and accounts that undermine animal welfare.
7. Intellectual Property
The BreederOS name, logo, software, and design are the property of BreederOS and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or proprietary materials without prior written permission.
8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. BreederOS is a platform that connects breeders and buyers; we are not a party to transactions between users and do not guarantee the conduct of any user. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that harms other users or the platform. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will notify you and update the date below. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic and the applicable regulations of the European Union, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence remain unaffected.
